Atlanta Officers Relieved of Duty Pending Internal Investigation
ATLANTA, Ga. — Two Atlanta police officers were removed from duty in 2021 after a video circulated on social media appeared to show a handcuffed woman being kicked in the head while on the ground.
According to a statement released by the Atlanta Police Department, the actions depicted in the video prompted immediate administrative action and an expedited internal investigation.
